Short answer: You tell us which billing work needs help. Alliance Global Solutions recruits dedicated remote staff for those roles, and they work in your systems, under your workflows, once a business associate agreement and access controls are in place. You direct the work; the staffing provider employs and supports the staff.
A dedicated remote billing team is people, not software. Here is what the process looks like from the first conversation to day-to-day work.
Step 1: Tell us about your workload
Use the short form on the home page or the longer contact form. We ask for practice-level details only: specialty, number of providers, a collections range and your current setup. Never include patient information.
Step 2: Free staffing assessment
A billing staffing specialist talks with you, usually for 20 to 30 minutes, about:
- which queues are falling behind (eligibility, authorizations, claims, denials, A/R, posting);
- your systems, payers and specialty-specific rules;
- whether your systems can support secure remote access;
- the hours and coverage you need; and
- whether a remote team is a sensible fit at all.
If it isn't, for example because your processes are undocumented or your payer contracts restrict offshore access, we'll tell you.
Step 3: Meet candidates, sign agreements, onboard
If you decide to go ahead:
- Role definition. We agree on tasks, hours, systems and how performance will be measured.
- Candidate interviews. You interview shortlisted candidates and choose who joins your team.
- Agreements. A services agreement and a business associate agreement (BAA) are signed before anyone receives access to protected health information. See our HIPAA guide.
- Secure access setup. Unique logins, multi-factor authentication, role-based permissions and secure remote access (VDI or VPN), with no local downloads.
- Training on your workflows. Your procedures, payers, escalation rules and reporting.
- Ramp-up. Start with a defined queue, review work closely in the first weeks, then expand.
Day to day
- Staff work your queues during agreed hours, often overlapping US business hours.
- You set priorities and approve anything outside the agreed rules (write-offs, refunds, appeals strategy).
- You get regular reporting on volumes worked and the KPIs you choose, such as days in A/R or denial rate. See RCM KPIs, defined.
- You can add roles or reduce capacity under the terms of your agreement.
What we don't do
- We don't ask for patient information through this website.
- We don't claim to be "HIPAA certified"; no such official certification exists.
- We don't promise specific outcomes before understanding your data.
Approved vendor: Alliance Global Solutions, which operates this site, provides dedicated remote staff for this work and signs a business associate agreement with each client before any PHI access. See approved vendors and how we vet vendors.
Technology
Once staff are onboarded, many teams add automation for eligibility checks and claim status, plus AI assistants that help draft appeals or summarize payer policies, with a person reviewing the output. Any tool that touches PHI should be approved by your practice and covered by a BAA where the tool vendor handles PHI (HHS). Alliance Global Solutions helps clients set up AI assistant workflows alongside their dedicated staff.
FAQ
Do remote staff use our software or theirs?
Yours. Dedicated staff work in your practice management system, clearinghouse and payer portals, with access you grant and can revoke at any time.
Who manages the remote staff day to day?
You direct the work and set priorities. The staffing provider handles employment, HR, equipment, attendance and support, and can help with supervision and reporting.
What do we need to have in place first?
A signed business associate agreement, a secure way for staff to reach your systems (ideally a virtual desktop or VPN with MFA), user accounts with role-based access, and documented procedures for the tasks you're assigning.
Can we start with one person?
Yes. Many practices start with one role, such as eligibility verification or A/R follow-up, and add more once the workflow is running smoothly.
